Shipping Your Order:
Although we arrange shipping of furniture as a courtesy, all merchandise is FOB from our Culver City location. The customer is responsible for damage or problems that may arise en route to the delivery address. When the trucker picks up your goods and signs a bill of lading that they are in good condition, you own them and risk of the goods being lost or damaged also passes to you. This arrangement is known as Free on Board (FOB). Shipping companies provide insurance and our quotes include that insurance. If damage does occur in transit, Timbo Furniture will support the customer in providing replacement pieces and expediting the insurance process.
Shipping/Handling Charges:
Our shipping and processing charges are intended to compensate Timbo for processing your order. These costs may include handling, packing, delivery and related overhead.
Shipping/Handling charges for accessories and most purchases under $300 will be shipped by standard ground services usually UPS or FEDEX and will usually be based on the total value of the merchandise (See "Delivery and Processing charges" below). All orders over $300 and some bulky and oversize packages will require special handling and shipping arrangements. In these cases we will contact you by phone or email to advise you of shipping costs and arrangements.
**Additional delivery charges may apply to items that are too large or bulky to be handled by our standard shipping. In such cases we will advise you by phone of any additional charges before shipping. All shipments over a total value of $300.00 will all be arranged by phone before shipping.
IMPORTANT: SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.
Return Policy:
Standard merchandise: We take pride in the quality of our merchandise. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase you may return the item(s) within 14 days of receipt. The return must be accompanied by a packing slip or invoice. You will receive a store credit of the merchandise cost including sales tax if applicable.You will be charged 15% reestocking fee. THE COST OF SHIPPING AND HANDLING AND ANY COST TO RETURN THE MERCHANDISE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. If you do not have an original receipt, you may return the merchandise with personal id and receive store credit. |
